Our Story

AE Physiotherapy (previously Namoi Physiotherapy) is a small, solely owned physiotherapy clinic in Narrabri NSW. Allyce Escuriale, the principal physiotherapist and business owner opened the clinic in 2016.

We have a large client base of Narrabri residents and surrounding areas (Wee Waa, Burren Junction, Walgett, Gunnedah, Boggabri, Baan Baa). AE Physiotherapy pride ourselves on always providing friendly, informative and helpful service.

Our clinic is open Monday to Friday and we visit Wee Waa fortnightly on Tuesday’s, Allyce is based at Wee Waa Medical Centre.

Business History

Although AE Physiotherapy is a relatively new business in the grand scheme of things, The journey all began for Allyce when she completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at James Cook University in Townsville and graduated in 2011.

Being a fresh-out-of-university physiotherapist, Allyce landed her first job in Mackay before moving to Narrabri in 2013 where she gained employment at Narrabri Physiotherapy. She worked there from 2013 to 2016 and from there broke off on her own and has been self employed at AE Physiotherapy ever since.

Allyce enjoys working rurally as a Physiotherapist, this enables her to treat a wide range of complex musculoskeletal conditions. Allyce has undertaken a diverse range of ongoing professional development education. Her fields have focused on Lyn Watson shoulder rehabilitation, Clinical Pilates Level 1 & 2 APPI, management and interventions for Parkinson’s Disease and Pelvis and Lumbar spine, Barbara Hungerford and many more. Interests and hobbies: Clinical Pilates, gym, cooking and family time.

Tara Foley

Physiotherapist

Tara graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2015.

She initially worked in Private Practice in Wollongong for 2 years treating a variety of musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and vertigo/vestibular conditions. After leaving private practice she worked in the NSW public rehabilitation managing an orthopaedic and neurological caseload both on the wards and in the hydrotherapy pool.

She has spent the last 2 years working in the private hospital system with a mixed ward based and outpatient caseload treating musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions as well as working on the maternity ward. She also worked in the fracture clinic alongside the orthopaedic specialists.

Tara has training in the management of Women’s Health conditions such as mild prolapse, urinary incontinence, urgency and pre/post-natal conditions.

Tara also has a special interest and training in the treatment and management of vertigo and vestibular disorders as well as chronic pain management.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a Doctors referral?

A Doctor’s referral is NOT required for private patients. They are only required for workers compensation, DVA, Medicare and Healthwise referrals.

Why try us?
AE Physio works with the client and their goals to reach their optimum outcome. If we don’t have the answers, we will refer you onto someone who does!
Do you accept all Australian Health Funds?

Yes we do.

Do you accept emergency or last minute appointments?

AE runs a solid booking system with most patients arranging appointments in advance. We will always do our best to fit patients in as soon as we can.

What treatments do physiotherapists offer?

Can I cancel appointments?

Appointments can be cancelled if at least 24 hours’ notice has been given. For cancellation under 24 hours we automatically charge the standard consultation fees.

Are you available for in-home consultations?
